Richtofen named after Major Stephen Long who explored the area in the 1820′s seen from Longmont, CO from the rest of the Colorado Front Range piedmont.”These views “surround” the viewer like the majestic panoramas from Colorado’s summits. I’ve always loved the dioramas in the Natural History Museum so I used that concept to get that 360 degree perspective. These pieces toured for two years in the “Masterpieces of Colorado”, Artist Joe Arnold. |
